Lombok is an island in West Nusa Tenggara (Nusa Tenggara Barat or NTB) province, Indonesia. It forms part of the chain of the Lesser Sunda Islands, with the Lombok Strait separating it from Bali to the west and the Alas Strait between it and Sumbawa to the east.
While in Lombok, (as usual) I made a trip to interesting places where I can capture some photos of the locals, in this case the fishing village in Ampenan - Kampung Melayu and Kampung Bugis (Kampung means village in local language).
The boys caught some hermit crabs and they were so excited to have a race... pretty interesting indeed...
What an enjoyable collection in this post, Weng!
