The Day Singapore Mourns

Today is the day Singapore mourns and bid farewell to its Founding Father, Mr Lee Kuan Yew.
Despite hours of heavy downpour, undeterred crowds throng the state funeral to say goodbye to their beloved and highly respected leader.

Crowds started to form as early as 7am in the morning and many wear black/white and carry Singapore flag to pay final tribute and witness the last journey of the man regarded as the Founding Father of the city state Singapore.

This year Singapore celebrate 50th year independence. With the great foundation that Mr Lee and his team has laid, I believe Singapore will continue to shine and enjoy greater success, progress and prosperity.
